In March of 2019 one of Dance for the Cure's loyal volunteers, Tara Melick Baldwin, had a wonderful idea about how to combine her Bridal Shower celebration with an opportunity to do good for others in her community. She asked each of her guests to contribute a gift card in any amount from local stores which were in turn donated to Dance for the Cure. The gift cards were put to good use by our Basket Creators who used them to acquire items to add to the beautiful themed baskets raffled at our annual fundraiser, Ribbons of Hope. Tara’s guests were happy to help make her special day even more meaningful by furnishing gift cards valued at $500.00 to this worthy cause. Thank you, Tara!
