Hunterdon County Recognizes Dance for the Cure

The Hunterdon County Board of County Commissioners honored Dance for the Cure with a Proclamation for its hard work and dedication to women in Hunterdon County who are battling breast cancer. DFC completed 2 recent projects that were seen throughout the borough of Flemington during October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, those being Tie the Town Pink and The Pink Bow Project.

For Tie the Town Pink, the Hunterdon County Main Street Complex was festooned with pink ribbons, and for The Pink Bow Project, volunteers created and delivered large pink bows to the business establishments in the area. The overall result was a swash of pink around the entire community throughout October.

Dance for the Cure projects are aimed at creating a presence during October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and encouraging people to learn more about the organization and how they can help those in need.
