University of Delaware Cheer Team Raises Money for DFC and Memorial Sloan Kettering
Brielle Herbst, daughter of DFC Volunteer and breast cancer survivor, Brooke Herbst, is a student at the University of Delaware. Brielle decided to create a sweatshirt to surprise her mom and once they caught wind of what she was up to, her fellow students on the University of Delaware Cheer Team jumped onboard with the idea. Together they decided to sell the shirts to the team and collect a few dollars from each sale to donate to Dance for the Cure and Memorial Sloan Kettering in honor of teammate Bella Vocile’s Grandmother. They raised $102 which was divided equally between the two charities. Thank you Brielle and UDel Cheer team!
