You may use our site without disclosing personally identifiable information. We want to be clear that we will not obtain personal information about you unless you choose to submit it to us.

If you supply us with personally identifiable information (such as name, address or telephone numbers), it will be used only for the purpose for which it was collected. For example, if you provide us with information (such as your name, contact details, and credit card) as part of an online donation, we will not use that information for any other purpose beyond administering, recording, and acknowledging the donation. DFC will not sell, share, or rent your personally identifiable information to others. We may also share information if required to do so by legal process, or if we transfer our operations to another entity, or in order to reasonably protect our site and DFC generally.

Security
DFC takes seriously the protection of our users’ information and we take reasonable precautions to protect your information once you have provided it to us. For example, when a Donation or Get Help form asks users to enter sensitive information, that information is encrypted between your browser and our computers. However, even with the best intentions, the Internet is an inherently open system and the DFC cannot guarantee the security of any information that you provide.

Our web site is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
