Dance for the Cure co-founder, Joanne Liscovitz, is a talented (and busy!) woman. She is the chair of Ribbons of Hope, DFC's fabulous annual fundraiser, a former middle and high school English teacher, and a tap dance instructor beloved by her students—and she does all of that while holding down a "day job" as a top tier realtor for Coldwell Banker Realty in Hillsborough, NJ.

Last year, Coldwell Banker held an event where raffle tickets were sold to benefit the Coldwell Banker Realty Cares Foundation, a foundation created to support local housing-related charities. The Hillsborough CBR office sold the highest number of tickets which led to a reward of $2,500 that the office could donate to a charity of their choice. Dance for the Cure was among the prospective charities and was ultimately was selected to receive the reward dollars. Branch Vice President (BVP) Tiffany DeLucia declared:

Joanne's dedication to Dance for the Cure, both as its co-founder and a tireless volunteer, is evident in her passion and energy devoted to its mission.
Alongside Joanne, both Jackie Haren and Danielle Hughes, from our office, volunteer for Dance for the Cure. I am thrilled that our office voted to support this worthy organization, especially knowing that this money helps breast cancer patients right in our own local area."

Thank you Joanne, Jackie and Danielle for nominating DFC and thank you to CB Realty Cares for such a generous donation.
