This October, Kacey Mucerino, a hair stylist at Gatsby Salon, took it upon herself to hold a fundraiser at the salon to benefit Dance for the Cure. Kacey was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 and was a DFC recipient herself, so she knows firsthand how impactful the proceeds of fundraisers truly are. Living as a survivor, she is determined to pay it forward to others fighting their battles.
In the month of October alone, Gatsby Salon was able to raise $2,570 for DFC. We are so grateful for Kacey, Gayle Giacomo (owner of the salon), and all the staff at Gatsby Salon for fundraising and contributing to DFC’s mission.
