As many know, Dance for the Cure is a 100% volunteer organization that spreads love, gives hope, and raises money to support breast cancer patients in Somerset, Hunterdon and Middlesex, NJ counties. The Pink Press, originating in October 2020, is the popularly-known newsletter published by DFC and is currently emailed to approximately 1000 subscribers on a quarterly basis.
“As a longtime volunteer for Dance for the Cure, I love seeing what my fellow volunteers are doing to support our cause and reading about the courageous journeys of our donees and how we are helping to ease their financial burdens,” states Deanna Cannatelli, DFC Volunteer. “It's heartwarming to know that even during these challenging times we continue to make a difference in people's lives.”
Each season’s release has its own special purpose. Every October release marks a new volume of the newsletter, being the most important month of our year. Our winter (January) release’s purpose is to ring in the new year, while the spring (April) release marks a time of renewal. The summer (July) newsletter is a time of abundance and prepares everyone for the upcoming annual fundraiser, along with the main gathering of the year: Ribbons of Hope.
Life can get busy, so this newsletter is a great way to keep up-to-date with DFC. Each release contains an overview of the amazing things DFC has accomplished in the past few months, a donee and volunteer spotlight, upcoming events, and ways to get involved.
A form to sign up for our newsletter can be found at the bottom of each page of our website. Simply provide your name and email address to be included in our quarterly email updates.
