Each October, as towns across New Jersey turn pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Dance for the Cure (DFC) is reminded of the wonderful support we receive from our local communities. In 2025, that support came in the form of official proclamations from several townships, recognizing and commending our mission to support breast cancer patients in financial need throughout Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, and Somerset counties.
We are honored to have received proclamations from the following municipalities this year:
Hillsborough Township – September 25
Township of Branchburg – October 2
Bridgewater Township – October 6
Raritan Borough – October 7
Raritan Township – October 7
Hunterdon County Board of Commissioners – October 10
Township of Warren – October 16
These proclamations serve as acknowledgments of the work our 100% volunteer-run organization does to provide financial assistance to individuals facing breast cancer. With over $1.3 million gifted to date, our mission continues to grow, fueled by the generosity of donors, the passion of our volunteers, and the solidarity of our communities.
To every township that recognized our efforts this year, we extend our heartfelt thanks. Your support uplifts our organization and, more importantly, the hundreds of local patients who benefit from your advocacy.
