Dance for the Cure is honored to have been the recipient of numerous proclamations over the years. One that we'd like to highlight was awarded to Bridgewater resident and DFC volunteer Brooke Herbst and the BRHS Cheer Team last October 2021 when they received a proclamation from Bridgewater Twonship Mayor Moench and the entire Council in recognition of their significant contributions to local breast cancer awareness and support.
In coordination with the local breast cancer support organization Dance for the Cure, Brooke and the girls put up pink ribbons all around the Bridgewater municipal complex and other Township properties to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to support those who have fought and are still fighting the disease. Bridgewater is proud of them and their activism!
You will see those ribbons going up again soon as we head into October this year. If you know a local breast cancer patient in financial need, please contact us for help!
