Dance for the Cure Receives Recognition Through Hillsborough Rewards Program

On October 14, 2025, Dance for the Cure was honored to be among eight local non-profit organizations awarded grants through the Hillsborough Rewards Program. The ceremony took place during the Township Committee Meeting, where Mayor John Ciccarelli presented ceremonial checks to representatives of each organization.

Dance for the Cure received $535 through the program in appreciation of the organization’s work supporting breast cancer patients in financial need across Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, and Somerset counties. The grant was awarded through an application process and will be used to help fulfill a specific need identified by the organization.

In attendance to accept the check were Dance for the Cure Co-Founder  Kathleen Cirioli, and volunteers Teri Halvorson, Maureen Brown, and Betsy Mazza, representing a small part of the larger network of over 75 dedicated volunteers who keep Dance for the Cure running.

As a fully volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit, every dollar counts. Dance for the Cure extends thanks to the Township of Hillsborough for including us in this year's awards.
