Communities United in Hope

Each October, municipalities throughout Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, and Somerset counties join Dance for the Cure by decorating municipal buildings, parks, and public spaces with our signature pink ribbons. Tie the Town Pink serves as a visible reminder that breast cancer affects families in every community and that local residents facing a diagnosis have the support of their neighbors.

Since its launch in 2016, the initiative has grown each year as additional towns proudly participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The pink ribbons spark conversations, promote awareness, and encourage community members to learn more about Dance for the Cure's mission of providing immediate financial assistance to local breast cancer patients.

Explore the stories below to see how communities throughout Central New Jersey have embraced Tie the Town Pink and helped spread hope one ribbon at a time.

Thank you to all our participating towns and municipalities!
