The Summer Book Reading Giveaway, hosted by Dance for the Cure volunteer Terry Oxford, took place at the newly refurbished Little Free Library in Hillsborough on June 17th. Aiming to thank the community for its support, the event drew together Dance for the Cure volunteers and local residents for a morning of book exchanges and social interaction.
Attendees, especially the many children who came by, eagerly perused the boxes of books, seeking a perfect summer story to enjoy. The gathering not only allowed community members to indulge in their love for reading but also reinforced the spirit of unity, bolstered by a common cause.
Many thanks to Terry Oxford for coordinating the effort, and to the volunteers and visitors who stopped by to join in the fun and spread awareness about Dance for the Cure!
